Being good on paper, using jargon and calling yourself ‘a disruptor’ whilst getting lots of funding is great, but it’s not a deciding factor for our top 100. Don’t be turned off entering just because you aren’t the biggest agency or the biggest funded startup. We want to recognise startups and businesses of all sizes.“

Meet The Judges
James Mercer – Founder of tayp
James has over 10 year’s experience in the digital media and marketing industry, working at some of the largest agencies with global brands. With a huge passion for tech, he’s now creating the social media platform tayp, which allows people to share who they are and not what they have via voicenotes. As a One Young World Ambassador, he’s passionate about tech for good and guiding the next generation.
Stephanie Affleck – Founder of Little Fashion House
Stephanie Affleck most famously known for making history on this years BBC Apprentice in the first all Women final she knows a thing or two about having to stand her ground in a boardroom. In an industry that is currently booming, Stephanie expertise lies in the pre-loved industry in which she owns a pre-loved clothing company Little Fashion House.
Alex Buttle – Co-Founder & VP Growth at Motorway
VP Growth and co-founder of Motorway. Focusing on Motorway’s next-gen used car-selling proposition, Alex is a seasoned marketing operator responsible for business growth through online marketing across all digital channels. Alex is also a serial entrepreneur whose past ventures include a suite of finance websites acquired by AOL, and Top10 which was acquired by uSwitch.
Jeffrey Faustin – Chief Investment Officer at Jenson Funding Partners
Jeffrey started at Jenson as an intern and worked his way up – after already spending over a decade of his career as a structural engineer in the Middle East and then retraining as a VC. That combined with being born and educated in the Caribbean means he’s taken an alternative route into the investment industry. With a cross-sector focus on early-stage companies, he has a lot of startup insight to share with the founders he works with.
Sabrina Chevannes – Founder of Complex Creative
Sabrina Chevannes is the founder of Complex Creative – the No Bullsh*t Agency, but she’s also an award-winning author, podcaster and International Chess Master. Growing her agency from 4 to 14 people in two years, Sabrina is well-placed to judge on company growth and culture. She currently sits as the Co-Chair of the Alliance of Independent Agencies, Co-Chair of the DMA Social Media Council, BIMA’s Sustainability and Creative Council and on the Forbes Business Council.
